The Model of Tertiary Ministry in Sydney Presbytery has three active and inter-linked expressions: On Campus Engagement (Christian Students Uniting), Student Community Housing (Student Housing) and Congregational Discipleship Formation (Uni Churches). There are examples throughout our Synod of tertiary ministries that involve one or two of these elements in various configurations. It is our belief that the model which includes all three of the inter-linked expressions, has the greatest potential to deliver on increased numbers of young adults engaged in active Christian discipleship, growing in leadership and service, then living out their vocations in, through and beyond the Uniting Church.
