Sydney Presbytery has a number of committees, filled by volunteers from within the Presbytery, who offer up their gifts, skills and time to assist in supporting the Congregations and Ministers within its bounds and helping the Presbytery in it's mission of - Leading the Church to Life.
Presbytery Standing Committee (PSC) - In keeping with the Presbytery Mission Statement (Leading the Church to Life), the role of Standing Committee is to undertake the business of Presbytery between ordinary meetings and to act as the governing body for the Presbytery with respect to strategic planning, finance, risk, compliance and staffing matters.
Pastoral Relations Committee (PRC) - The PRC has oversight of Ministers and ministry, as well as Congregations within the Presbytery. In seeking to assist flourishing and helpful development in mission and ministry, the PRC oversees and helps facilitate processes and consultations with Congregations and Ministers, guided by the Constitution and Regulations of the Uniting Church.
Presbytery Property Committee (PPC) - PPC works with Congregations and other church bodies to facilitate their life and mission, particularly as these relate to property and finances (including the approval of building works, property sales and purchases, leases and use of Sales Proceeds).
